Hi Sir,
I’ve been reading your blogs for many years. Even though I’ve always had the urge to read your first novel Kaalkal, I didn’t get the chance until you recently released it on Amazon Kindle last week. Just a few minutes ago, I completed reading Kaalkal in full.
At one point in my life, reading novels helped me a lot to pass time and stay engaged. But over time, I somehow lost that reading habit. So when the opportunity came to read Kaalkal, I didn’t want to miss it. I immediately downloaded it on Kindle and finished reading it.
Although it took me a little while to get into the flow of the novel in the beginning, I soon got immersed in it and ended up reading it over the next three days, whenever I found time.

Though I am a visually challenged person and already understand the world of the visually impaired and the challenges they face, Kaalkal helped me — for the first time — step into the world of people with locomotor disabilities through the central character, Mathu.
Your decision to choose a female protagonist and make her the heart of the novel gave it a unique depth and emotional resonance. That intention was strongly felt throughout the reading experience.
Like Chamundeeswari, who wrote a review of Kaalkal yesterday, I too had the desire to write a review after finishing the novel. But once I completed it, I found my own thoughts beautifully reflected in her words — she had written it really well.
Chamundeeswari was truly an inspiration — the fact that she finished reading Kaalkal in a single night motivated me to complete the novel soon as well.

Though I felt the novel was a bit lengthy, I still enjoyed many aspects of it.
Final words: I feel truly satisfied having completed Kaalkal, and I’m now looking forward to reading your latest novel, Nilal Bommai.
